Here's where to look for the records most people ask about in Campbell County:

- Probate, wills, and estates: see District Court probate. Routine probate questions route through District Court by way of the Circuit Court Clerk; contested probate may involve Circuit Court.
- Criminal and arrest records: see criminal records. Court charges route through the Circuit Court Clerk, while police reports come from the agency that created the report.
- Jail roster: see inmate records. Campbell County Detention Center is at 601 Central Ave., Newport, KY 41071. Main phone: 859-431-4611.
- Active warrants: see warrant records. The Campbell County Sheriff's Office handles warrant service and civil or criminal process. The county page and jail phone list identify the sheriff's phone as 859-292-3833.
- Other county records: Fiscal Court open-records requests may be mailed or delivered to 1098 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY 41071, faxed to 859-292-3822, or emailed to openrecords@campbellcountyky.gov when the record belongs to Fiscal Court.
